Very hot 8.5 hr drive in.  Took me 11 hrs with stopping.  Not too much to see after lousiana.  Got in late and took it easy the first night.  Difficult road system around san Antonio. The next day I toured the Alamo which was interesting,
but glad it was in the city. Takes about an hr and nothing too exciting. Walked around the city, river
walk, market place. Not a ton to see, but cool city. 1 day is enough. Made sure I got my fill of western attire. Austin tomorrow!
