Visited the Lake Titicaca, which is massive, 9000sq km and is at about 3600m. The clouds are really low above it and it stretches endlessly.
ThereŽs these floating Islands made of reeds we visited where people live, they also make their boats and all sorts of other things out of the reeds, and then we stayed for a night with a family on another Island (Amantani). They didnt even have electricty. Was excellent though and soo many stars in the sky. Also dressed up in the local gear and did the traditional dances which was interesting although they love the brightest ugliest colours imaginable.
In the morning we said goodbye to the family we stayed with (I left them my coca leaves as a parting gift, IŽd had enough of them, and its a traditional andean present) and we went to visit another Island (Taquile) which was much the same to be honest.
Got back to Puno and booked our bus ticket to Bolivia (La Paz via Cochabamba) which goes thru the lake (short ferry ride).
