Kid robot.

The new craving of my brother. As we walk down the streets Takayama we happen to cross a little Kid Robot museum of sorts (Kid Robots are little figurines sometimes seeming inappropriate but always a tad funny). Torin is ecstatic as we walk in, seeing the shelves and shelves of the figurines. Immediately he decides to purchase two of them. A squid like thing with wings and a flower, and another called The Lost Child. The description you get on the card is rather... well strange I suppose. It reads "This evil being preys on innocent travelers, enticing them to help what appears to be a sweet, beckoning child. Once the hapless individual is at arms length,The Lost Child swivels at lightening speed and proceeds to eat the victims face." As I am quite unsure of the effect this has on my brother (and guessing he is already devising plans to destroy me) I'm quite worried about what he will come up with.

Of course, Kid Robot is not a bad obsession to have. I'm always dreading that when he turns 12 or 13 (preferably later) I will catch him sneaking Playboy magazines into his room under his shirt and I figure that by then I'll be wishing that he would return to the peaceful ignorance he has now. Just wait till he brings the girls home. That'll be interesting *winks*. But at the same time I'm afraid to think he may start purchasing Kid Robots that look like "Bunny sees Boobies". (I will post a picture of that)

It could be worse.

What an arresting photo and title this entry has! Caught our attention immediately! Takayama looks like an older Japan, more tradition, less technology..except for
the robots that Torin loves.Your writing continues to grow and amaze us,Nadeige.
