Today we got up and got everything packed up again.  It's amazing how much stuff we unpacked in two days in the same place.  I guess that will have to be our plan when we get to Pittsburgh.  Have the kids pack up and move rooms every day to keep them from trashing their rooms...  Somehow I don't think that would work...

Before we left Nauvoo we drove by the temple to get a picture looking out at the Mississippi with the sun behind us, then drove through town looking for someplace that sells Nauvoo post cards.  I guess nothing in town opens before 9:00 AM because we couldn't find anyplace that had any for sale.  So no one should expect a post card from Nauvoo.  Sorry!

So anyway, today was a pretty uneventful day.  We drove about 4 hours from Nauvoo, IL to the KOA in Utica, IL.  This is the closest KOA to Chicago.  We will get up early in the morning and drive the 80 miles to Chicago and see the sights in the Windy City.

It rained most of the drive here today and it was pouring when we arrived at the KOA, so we dropped off the trailer and went and ate lunch.  By the time we got back it had quite raining, but the humidity was off the chart!  so we all sweat a bucket full while we put up our tents.

Lisa put her foot down today and none of the boys could go swimming until they had written a post card or letter to John and Grandma.  So once that is done they will be off to cool off.
