Oh no, Kerry arrives in Dublin without Teresa. The Continental plane from Houston decides to go back to the gate for no particular reason, which makes it delayed in getting to Memphis. I got the pleasure of spending the night at the Marriott Fairfield Inn in Newark, NJ -- whoopie.. Although I guess missing out on Kerry learning how to drive on the left and shift gears by herself was probably a good thing to my virgin ears.

One of the first places that Kerry heads to explore on her own is the Trinity College to see Book of Kells . The book is 680 pages of monkish Latin script and painting. The monks who copied out and illustrated the four Gospels at the Monastery of Kells in County Meath around the year 800 may have learned their skill in St. Columba celebrated monastery on the Scottish island of Iona. They turn the pages every three to four months.

Kerry spots an amusing sign on the lawn at trinity college .

She asks the conceirge for recommendation on what she could do on her own for the night, and they direct her to this Rugby game.  She attempted to quiz the people sitting near her about the art/rules of the game.

I think Kerry went to this pub as I wasn't there yet to remember this.  Kerry???

Our Hotel for the first two nights was Dublin Conrad: Earlsfort Terrace. This is one of the street near the hotel that was facing St. Stephens Green
