The girls from the ranch had invited us to stay with them and their mum in Toowooba, a little town just west of Brisbane. So we were picked up by their Dad Bill and he kindly dropped us off there. Jenny (their Mum) was lovely. She really made us feel welcome and at home, and it was great to be in a 'home' and with a proper aussie family. Me and Jane shared the most comfortable bed which one of the girls (Billie) gave up for us. We stayed three nights and could of stayed 2 weeks! Home cooked food! Yum! WE went out in Toowooba on the sat night, First to a party their sister was having at her house, which did make me and Jnae feel very old, but they were all very nice and then out onto the town of Toowooba! Well, bit like Wotton , but with a couple of night clubs! Me and Jane did some headbanging to a rock band. Yeah!
Jenny bless her gave us packed lunches when we left and let us do our washing too. A lovely lady with lovely girls. Me and Jane hope they will come and visit us one day.
