After a non-descript flight, we landed in Panama city. It was one of those fun outdoor landings where you have to walk across the tarmac to get to the terminal - very southern, and certainly not something you'd enjoy in December in Canada. The first thing we all noticed when we got off the plane was the chocking heat. Brutal heat, brutal humidity. It hadn't been that cold when we left Canada, but it was still extremely alarming! Good thing we were going to spend the better part of a week on the beach!!
