Yesterday was spent lounging around the first class lounge waiting for my flight out of Houston. It went surprisingly quickly, and there was much fried chicken to be had. Mmmm Popeye´s.
The flight was pretty decent. First class, nice big seats, and I slept for a couple of hours. However, that was no substite for a good night´s sleep as I´m finding out today...very tired and quite cranky. (See above.)
I´m taking an overnight bus out to Merida tonight...I was going to fly, but I think we all know I´m too cheap for that. It was quoted at 125$!!! Forget that bullshit. I´m taking the 25$ bus.
So now I´m wandering the city, and then I´ll head back to the bus station to wait for my 8:30pm departure. Pretty blah day, all in all. Although Venezuela seems nice! It´s just my mood that is blah, not the country or the city!
Costs for the day: Bus ticket 25$, juice 2$. (I´m assuming I´ll eat more later for around 10$)
