It was a rather uneventful bus trip from Kingston to Toronto...and given that I could barely sleep last night, I managed to get a bit of sleep on the bus. I've got a lot of mixed feelings about this trip. I'd say that a fair bit of it is apprehension because my last trip was quite difficult, both emotionally and physically. And the rest of it is just me being a big baby and not wanting to leave Ross or my nice comfy life in Kingston.

Anyway....I had an amusing encounter with the border agent who screened me into the US. When she asked what I do for a living, I replied "teach yoga". Well, turns out she's a HUGE yoga fan...and got me to help her with some poses right there in her booth. Then she demonstrated her downward dog to me, much to the amusement of all the other passengers and border agents.

I got to Houston right on time, and was thrilled to find a Popeye's!! Actually, two. Woohoo! So I ate some fried chicken, then waited for my flight which was scheduled to depart at 12:55 a.m. Turns out they overbooked the flight, and were looking for volunteers to give up their seats. So of couse, being the wonderful human being that I am, I offered. haha. Okay, truth is they offered to upgrade me to first class on tomorrow night's flight, put me up in the Marriott, give me money for food and a 300$ voucher for a flight with Continental. How could I say no to that?
