Having run out of time a flight was needed.
OUr flight was at 1am at we arrived 5 hours early. This airport was so small and lame we were left with nothing to do but wait for our airlines office to open where we had to sort out our flight business...
At 11pm the TAM airline office opened and we went straight into talking with the consultant. We had got flights over the internet but it had not ticketed but we had a reservation.
So in the end it got canceled and we hat to argue about the price as it had doubled from when we first went to purchase the tickets online.
We had documents from our original flights etc but after 3hours of argueing (and missing our 1am flight) we had to give in and pay thge $640usd for our flights. They told us to take it up with someone when we got back to Australia which is pretty useless since its a Brazilian airline.
After the their stupid machine not accepting our credit card we had to use our normal bank card. ewhich didnt work either. Until we realised that not enough money was on it. aghh We finally got the tickets after transfering more money. Which made these $600usd tickets seem like gold.
Our flight was at 5am we managed to stay awake until 5am. We got on this plane and we were on our way to Rio, After stopping in Belem, Brasilia, Sao Paulo then Rio de Janerio.. Yay!
