Our last stop in NZ was a pretty amazing one. We went to Wanaka. This is a town that has a tuquoise blue lake surrounded by mountains. AND more importantly home to a fabulous Mexican restaurant. We were in withdrawl. Our twice weekly La Fuente addiction as not been being fed. We did absolutely nothing adventurous or facinating. We sat by the beach, relaxed. We had an 8 bed dorm with all boys who smelled awful and were bloody loud. We switched to a private for the last night and had our own little cottage. Fabulous! No smelly socks or loud German accents at 3 am!!! Heaven. On our itinerary was to visit a place called Puzzling World which is full of mazes and illusions and a brewery. We only did one. Guess which? No you silly WI folks we did not go to the brewery (mostly because we could not find it). We went to puzzling world. Was a wonderful chill couple of days. After that we had a 6 plus hour drive to Christchurch. Then off to catch our flight to Sydney! Warm weather and beaches here we come! We miss you all. Thank you all for the messages and comments.
