I was finally fortunate enough to have a nice day on one of my days off, clear blue skies, warm breezes.. fantastic day really. So I decided to get outside and went for a 12km return hike, (with a bruised toe and sore knee I might mention).
I went through a place called the Johnston Canyon, which has waterfall after waterfall, and further up to the Inkpots. The river that we were following along was glacier fed, and in some spots we were fortunate enough to find a way down to the water and got to drink straight out of the river.. it was fantastic water, cold clear and fresh.
I went a bit snap happy today, but with views like this how could you blame me.
