Friday...heading to San Diego was on our schedule...we had to get up so early (Peter insisted) to be on the road by 10...that sucked! But you won't believe we made it - I made it right in time...

We passed the famous Death Valley...it was so great to see. I wanted to go out and take pics but Peter kept telling me about the rattle snakes...so of course I didn't leave the car. It took us a while but it was a really ride though to see the American desert which I haven't seen before. After being stuck in traffic we finally made it to San Diego, we stayed at the apartment of Peters friends from New Hampshire. Rachel and Adam were really sweet the entire time...and get this: The had also a dog...I come over it when being confronted with dogs the whole time. We actually took it quite easy that Friday, we went to see downtown, which was quite amazing...we had dinner in a really nice location.
