Time is moving fast, and we didn't open the door of our cabin before eleven local time. Our first longer stop of the day is Krasnoiarsk pass where we found some food for breakfast. We spend the day reading and chatting with the people in the corridor. The German traveler is leaving us today at Taishet. But before we reach that we make short stops at Zaozernaia, Kansk Ernis, Ilanskaia and Reshoty. We loose another hour making the difference with Moscow now five hours, our last time change before we reach Irkutsk. The scenery outside is slowly changing and we see the first classic Siberian wooden houses with their nicely decorated windows and shutters. Some are in the traditional colors, white blue and green. But most of them have creative pink or purple colorings. On one of our stops we buy some dumplings to complement our noodle soup for the night. The dumplings were filled with some form of potato, and actually needed some soup to give them any taste at all. At Taishet we said farewell to the friendly German, as he is making his way to Vladivostok. He had to get off the train quickly as it only stopped there for two minutes. Luckily we manage to organize a shower today, so refreshed we went in to the evening where the towns of Nijneudins, Tulun, Zima, Cheremshovo and Usol Sibit pass our windows in the dark Siberian night. Tomorrow we will arrive in Irkutsk very early in the morning, so we try to get some sleep.
