We had a lazy morning and afternoon, it was way too hot to get out so we did some research on the web on future parts of our trip. Around four o clock we conquered the heat, and headed back into the maze of Juderia. We went to the Mezquita and explored the hybrid cathedral / mosque. In a way its revolutionary, combine all religions together in one house of worship, as it is basically all the same story anyways. The inside of the Mezquita is very interesting and is a real photography playground. Beautiful light, and very nice patterns.

After visiting the Mezquita we walked down the small streets up to the plaza. Here we sat down and rewarded ourselves with a drink of crushed ice and lemon. We ended up paying 3 euro per drink, which was a bit much I thought. But hey, the little bar was the only one open on the plaza, so he can basically ask what he wants. On the way back to the hotel we walked passed the riverside to get a little breeze.

For dinner we tried one of the best tapas restaurants in Juderia, the restaurant 'Casa pepe de Juderia'. We had to put our name down as the place was packed, but after a short wait at the bar with a Sangria, we got our table. The restaurant served very nice Michelin quality tapas.. The food lived up to the reputation as we found on tripadvisor. We ended up ordering some some codfish with orange, a strange but nice combination. For Linda, her favorite Oxtail which is a local specialty. We also had some baby squid and cod fish balls. The dinner was very enjoyable, but we both are a bit “tapassed” out. Tomorrow we have to find something different.
