Where I stayed
Today is our wedding day and things start off with a light head. We skipped our breakfast and had a lazy morning. The wedding is in the afternoon and the make up, hair and photographer are scheduled for around 15:00. We try to stay out of the sun as we don't want to be too burnt or otherwise marked for the big day.
At the dock we see that the Crystal Clear has docked. A beautiful 64 foot boat. We will take this boat out on our mini honeymoon within a honeymoon on the 17th. We are both looking forward to that. Unfortunately we cannot find the captain yet to go over our literary, as he was at home resting from his previous trip.
I dressed up in my white suit, and we headed out in our golf cart with Pierre and Erica, to make some photos. First we headed out to the docks where we made a lot of very nice photos. We climbed up the Crystal Clear to make some 'Titanic' shots, and Pierre and Erica had some very creative ideas on the shooting. For one photo Pierre went into the water as we were standing on the rocks next to the pier. This shot should have our reflection in the water. As we still have to receive the photos, I don't know yet how that turned out, but the idea was great. After the docks we headed out toward a path near the beach. Along the way we picked up a resort bicycle which we used as a 'prop' for a shoot along the road. My suit got dirtied by a big smudge of grease from our transportation golf cart, but we did not really care, we had fun and enjoyed the moments.
The resort set up a table for us covered with flowers. Our bottle of champagne was waiting at the side. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner before retreating to our villa. It was a magical day in paradise, but in a way we are both glad it is done. No more worries about the organization of all of this. All that remains now is the banquet in Macau, but that is November....
