Today we make our way to Vancouver and are at sea all day. The ship takes the inside passage, thus the waters are calm and the rocking of the ship is moderate. We spent the day roaming around the ship watching a seminar from the ship naturalist (Milos) who explains biologic and geologic phenomenons with great humor, quite enjoyable. In the afternoon we enjoyed a massage in the Spa, the massage was very nice, but it is kind of annoying that the spa tries to push all kinds of food supplements to reduce 'water retention'. Anyhow, dinner was at the main restaurant where we had to finish off a bottle of wine that was held for us. We had a quiet evening, trying to organize our suitcases and pack for the next morning as we have to disembark at 08:20 in the morning.

We made up the balance of cruising, and we concluded that it is indeed an enjoyable way of traveling around. The Ship needs to be big enough to house enough restaurants and entertainment for the evenings and days at sea. The Millennium class ships from Celebrity are good for 7 or 8 days, but not much more. People are very friendly on a cruise ship as they are all in the same 'boat'. It feels a bit like Bermuda where everybody greets you on passing by. Alaska is indeed an amazing place, and we were extremely lucky as the weather allowed us to see things that normally stay hidden behind the clouds.

Now off to the next bit, a few days of Vancouver, and then the west coast!
