Can't quite believe the time has already come to say goodbye to the country that has been my home for the last four months. My housemates and I are currently going through the rituals of doing everything for one last time, one last internet session, one last milkshake at africaf, one last visit to the Masai Market etc etc. It all feels very surreal and I guess won't really hit home until we've landed in England, find ourselves surrounded by Mzungus and packaged goods and are in a place where driving down the wrong side of the road at 80mph in order to overtake a slow vehicle is not considered normal!!

The last week has been very busy as we have been able to spend some of the fundraising money that has kindly been donated by people after my Kili climb. We have been lucky enough to have been given enough money to pay for new textbooks (1 each) for all of Standard 4, 5, 6, and 7 and have also had some spare money which we've been able to spend on setting up a library for the children with numerous English and Tanzanian story and reference books which they can borrow to further their reading. My housemate and I have also been busy with our music club which the kids have loved, particularly enjoying the round of London's burning (with actions of course) and kookaburrah sits in the old gumtree. Our final lessons are on wednesday of this week so we are trying to plan exciting things to do with the kids which they'll enjoy. Strangely going to miss them all an awful lot!!

Know it's going to be a massive cultureshock when I get back, but can't wait to see you all again soon!!! Hotmail is still up the spout as it has been for the last few week so sorry I haven't been able to reply to many of your emails, but I'll get on top of it as soon as I get back to England...

Lots of love
