Cape Town is as beautiful as everyone describes it. Maybe even more beautiful. We were only able to spend two days here, but we squeezed some adventure in.

We went SCUBA diving with sharks! Big big sharks. To make it even more strange we were in an acquarium, so the people visiting the acquarium and swinging by the shark tank at noon saw us swimming around in there. We decided to do this as opposed to cage diving with sharks because the cage dive does not guarantee you see sharks and visibility is reduced at this time of year. We also decided to dive here instead of in the ocean because it was warmer (although not by much and I was frozen). It was surprisingly scarier and cooler than I had anticipated. A giant turtle chased Brian.

We also hiked Table Mountain. Ok ok! I cannot tell a lie, we only hiked down. We rode the gondola up. We were pressed for time! The views were incredible.

good thing mom finds about these things after the fact - as for the mountain views - i'd be at the bottom looking up with your dad
