Left Cotonou around 8am and got back to Houègbo around 10am.

Decided to sit outside with the landlord's wife for a bit. She was on her porch doing some sewing. I learned her name is Grâce, and she doesn't have any kids. She wants kids, but is unable to have them.

After about an hour, I took a nap. Then Meredith came over and we baked cookie-cake to take to the neighbors. We took some to Augustine; she was looking a little healthier today.

On my walk back home, I ran into a neighbor girl named Kayveen (spelling???). She lives at the house that makes bread. She's a student in 3eme (troisème, aka 10th grade). She said when I want bread, I should ask for her-I think I have the hook-ups for bread now.

Made cous-cous with jus sauce for dinner. (Like grits with sautéed tomatoes, onions, and hot peppers.) Grâce was the only person around, so I asked if she wanted some too. She said ok. As I was in the process of cooking, her husband (my landlord) came home and had visitors with him....So, I made some extra food because if I'm feeding her, I'll have to feed everyone else too. Well, turns out Grâce really didn't want any. The landlord ate some, but the visitors didn't want any either. I have lots of leftovers for tomorrow.

As I was cleaning up and getting ready for bed, I found the BIGGEST spider EVER on the wall behind the door. It was probably 4-5 inches in diameter. I took a picture of it, before having the landlord remove it from my house.
