12PM went home to get my baggage
12:30PM returned to the hotel
12:35 PM ate lunch at the hotel (courtesy of the PC)
1:15PM left hotel with Augustine and headed for Cotonou
2:30PM changed taxi's in Cotonou, found one going to Houegbo
5:00PM arrived in Houegbo..."home"
Houegbo seems to be a perfect size. Not really big, but not really small either. The taxi driver dropped us off at the Town Hall-equivalent building. There, I was welcomed by many, many people.
After the Town Hall place, I went to my temporary "host family's" (the people I lived with during 3 day visit.) Turns out, my "family" is a single, young lady, who is a coiffeuse...a hair stylist. She lives in a room behind her salon. Her brother and his family live in the house behind the salon. So, I got to sleep in her room, and she slept at their house. It's a very nice family.
