After lunch we had our Accounting TDA session. It's such a broad topic that I feel we didn't do a good job teaching it in the 2 hours we were allotted. Normally, when a Volunteer does this session, it takes place over a few weeks.
After the TDA session, we had "Get Together Time"...Happy Hour. The PC provides bingets (fried dough balls that you dip in a salsa-like hot sauce), yams (similar to fries), some sort of dried coconut stuff that is really good, and these little things that look like cupcakes without frosting. The PC also buys everyone a soda....that we usually add sodabi to.
After dinner, I hung out with the family. Yesterday, I forgot to mention that we have another "long term" visitor, Odilo. He is supposedly here for 2 weeks, but usually that means longer. My brother, Spero, was supposed to be gone for 2 weeks, but now he's not coming back for another 2 or so. All the kids are on "vacance" from school until October, so they go to visit other family members for a month usually.
