On our way into Hong Kong we picked up some leaflets and not suprisingly to most people who know me well.. the Foodie tour caught my eye and we booked to go. It lasted three hours and was very seafoody! we tried Shrimp Wonton in a seafood broth (which if you add red vinegar completely changes the taste and also turns the food more alkaline helping digestion), DELICIOUS bbq tender pork loin with rice, sugar cane juice (the sweetest thing ever!), dim sum (four different dishes which again were rather shrimpy but apparently favourites!). We also had a traditional tea ceremony which was really fun although pouring tea with this little cup saucer thing was hard! The guy who worked there was passionate about tea and so with mine and Steph's interest and questions he let us have a smoked tea instead of what was planned for us. It's apparently expensive and even our tour guide hadn't had it before and I can see why as it really was great :D Our tour guide was great and it was only me and Steph which was nice. She told us about some of the history on our walk round and relevance of buildings and traditions. Genuinely was a really good tour so would recommend going on it if you travel to Hong Kong but do it at the beginning so you can go back to thr yummy ones!

We then headed up to Victorias Peak taking possibly the steepest tram ever!! Was good fun at the view of the city lit up at nice were really great, especially as the smog and ever lingering clouds created quite a moody effect. Following which we sat back up on the tetrace and chatted to other travellers for our last night there.
