We used our last morning wisely and headed back to Mong Kok where ladies market was and other shops. Got a 32gb sd card for my camera for about 15 and some cheap TOMS shoes as mine had died.

We then got going for Vietnam. Arriving in darkness wasn't the best of flight choices and we had a slight hiccup getting to our hostel... the taxi took us to the road name we gave him which unfortuntaly hadn't printed the right squiggles/accents so it was actually a different road. It was fairly obvious from being dropped off at the British Embassy that we were not in the right place (even more annoying the airport was all out of free maps!). So we asked a guy at the embassy entrance who quickly saw the error, we were offered a motorbike taxi but after seeing them on the motorway and having massive backpacks we quickly said no and asked for a taxi.

Lesson1. Make sure you are at the right location before letting the taxi leave AND that you have the exact address details - hostel bookers does not print squiggles!

So second time lucky we arrived at our hostel and got settled in for the night... after a little skype palava with mum and my debit card reader. Note to travellers... if using travelex cash passport cards and not wanting to take current account cards like myself, make sure you add travelex as a payee on your bank account for topping up so you don't end up calling home like me for card reader security!
