Hello everybody!! Only have time to write a short entry today because we were supposed to come to the internet cafe an hour ago but our driver was being African and was therefore very late to pick us up!! Never mindy, I will cheer myself up by telling you all about Safari!!!
Ahhh!!! Was actually the coolest thing ever ever ever in my whole entire life and this time it actually was!! Was at Liwonde national park on the ricer shire like hobbits and it was actually the most beautiful place I had ever been to. The river was so wide and slow it was really just like a lake and it was so sunny and ACTUALLY looked just like Eden it really did, you expected dinosaurs to npop out from behind the trees and the mountains all the time! We did a game drive in the morning and a boat safari in the afternoon and it was just the coolest thing EVER!!! On the game driver we saw baboons and impalas and water bucks and so many weirdo bugs and plants and stuff and before we had left the guide was like what do you want to see and we said ELEPHANTS so he was like RIGHT and then he spotted them really far away and after that it was like this massive elephant hunt and he was driving basically right through the bush and we were all getting whacked in the face by crazy spiky plants and things and everyone was getting really sad because we thought we wouldnt find the elephants because we kept moving but then suddenly we drove out into this clearing and this elephant was just standing there!! It was the coolest thing EVER! He just looked at us and we looked at him and we were driving closer and closer really slowly and then he ACTUALLY went MWOOOOP MWOOOO which was TERRIFYING but the most amazing thing EVER and then he just smiled at us and wandered off into the trees! It was the best thing EVER, we were all actually really emotional it was nuts! And then on the way back we saw another one but he only had a short trunk because it had been bitten off by a crocodile! We saw SO many crocodiles on the boat safari and MILLIONS of hippos, I have way too many photos! Was just the best thing EVER in the world, really really was. And then on the way back we had to drive along this tiny little bumpy road through all these tiny villages with people living in tiny huts and things and the van got stuck in the biggest puddle in the world and so we all had to get out and push and it was like everyone in the entire village came out to help us, it was amazing! Everyone here is just the nicest EVER!
Ok, so apart form the safari, what other news really is there? :p We visited two orphanges this week which was great,m were hoping to work in oneof them once weve finished teaching. EIn the one today they made us get up the front and sing a song to everyone, SO embarrassing but very very funny! No-one can say Jenny so it appears my name has changed to Jane because that is what everyone says! Went to one of the SU Bible clubs today as well whichw as alaso amazing, lots of singing! Tis so crazy how huge a part of the culture singing and music is here, its amazing! I am learning SO many songs from them and just so much about music in general, its amazing! Other than that this week weve just been doing our lesson plans whcih is really good. Starting teaching on monday, been visiting some of the schools and getting really scared now, teenagers are just so scary! Basicvally the project is a life skills course, with five lessons, one on freedom, ie the freedom to make your own decisions and not be got by peer pressure or whatever, one on love and relationships (aw) one on sex which is far too detailed to be funny, one on AIDS which is a fabby one except for a drama we have to perform (Emma is the flu frog, I am HIV horror if you want an indication of how horriblke it is) and then the last one is called decide to decide right which is all about how to make decisions and especially the right decisions. It is a GREAT programme and it really is a privilage to be delivering it, lots of work to do preparing though! WEere doing it in five schools with about 120 in each class, so will be reaching lots and lots of people! Really really into it though, its just such good stuff we are saying and it really is a privilage to be doing it.
Right, think thats about all for now, will write again probably next wWEdnesday when we will have had two full days of being teachers, scary!! Hope everything is going well for everybody, lots and lots of love! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh wowee..
I don't think I have the words for how amazingly exciting and brilliant that sounds. I am stupendously jealous and also stupendously happy for you! Elephants! Hippos! I am very very glad you have so many photos - I cannot wait to see!
Starting lessons sounds...scary! I cannot imagine you getting up in front of a bunch of teenagers to talk to them about sex and then be HIV (a bit of an 'um...what?' moment reading that - methinks you are going to have to recreate that drama when you get home!) but I am sure it will be very very funny. NO, not funny, I'm sure it will be serious and you will be great!
Seriously, super duper good luck with it!
Love you millions beautiful girl, can't believe I beat Bruno here...he must be actually *having* a social life! :P Miss you xxxxxxxxxxxx
