It was sad to leave Sue's place, but we are so glad we've met her wonderful family, they were so good to us all. Grossi Anna showed Lynn and I her handicrafts in her flat above the family home. At 86 she still does some fantastic needlework and was kind enough to give us each a bobbin made doily, such fine stitching must have taken her hours to make. We hope that some of the family will visit us in Australia one day.
We drove on all day until Cuneo, Italy where we slept in a skate ramp park. We were a bit concerned at the number of youngsters around us, but they were very noisy and boisterous so we felt they were not mischievous. We slept soundly.
