Oswiecim
The north of Poland is poorer than the south it seems to me. With a population of 36 million people we did not find it over crowded as the area of Poland is over 323,250 sq kilometers. The kids are on school holidays now and it's great to see them in the towns.
Today we went to see the town where the concentration camp Auschwitz was. It was a catastrophic place. I went into the Block dedicated to the Dutch people who suffered under the occupation and was very moved. It was a sad day and not one I wish to repeat. My heart goes out to all those suffered so during the Second World War and to those who lost loved ones.
