We arrived in Finland on the morning of the 18th of June after a very pleasant ferry crossing from Sweden to Finland passing many, many islands belonging to both countries. It reminded me of cruising through the heads in Sydney. Lots of photos and a late, yummy, thick, steak dinner after we tore ourselves away from the 'Mariella's' top deck, made it an most enjoyable cruise. We shared a few drinks during the floor show, a magician and a singing group. A warm, soaking spa before bed and we were gently rocked to sleep.

We took the scenic route to Rastila Caravan Park and oriented ourselves with Helsinki (unintentionally). We did a total of 6 loads of washing while Des washed the car and Lou chilled. Swiss Michael and his BMW Boxer soon joined us and told us of his misfortune in Riga, Latvia. His helmet, bedroll and personal belongings were stolen from his tent in a Caravan Park.
