The drive today was warm, dry and spectacular. We drove up and down the Trollveggen near Andalsnes, under the waterfalls spray, over the stone bridge and around 11 hairpin bends, incredible. The area was snowy but not cold. We're wondering how long this great weather can last, even the locals say it's unseasonal.
The drive to Geiranger was another joy for us. The fjord between the huge great mountains is very deep and can accommodate the largest cruise ships.
We camped with a couple from Holland who are traveling around in a blue 'rusty duck' an old Citroen van. They had this tiny little car all decked out as a camper and were traveling with their Jack Russell, Spike. He had to have a passport too. In fact there was more fuss made about Spike at the border than John or Vivienne. Spike needed to be wormed before leaving home, and again upon entry into Norway, complete vet check each time, Rabies shot and a micro chip. This all had to be entered on Spike's passport. It's expensive traveling with a dog. Lynn gave him a nice new tennis ball which he proceeded to strip bare in about 30 seconds flat!
John & Vivienne shared a cuppa with us in our camper, six of us in there is a bit tight.
