As Monday May 1st was a bank holiday, Des, my brother Lou, and his partner Lynn and I spent the day at Windsor Castle along with every other tourist in England. I particularly enjoyed Queen Mary's Doll's House and The Armoury.
St George's Chaple was brilliant with it's many stained glass windows and timber carvings. The boat trip down the Thames and the open-air bus trip through Eaton were also a highlight. The down side to Windsor Castle was the long queuing, some queues as long as 45 minutes.
