Well, Surprise, it was still raining yesterday as we strolled around Downtown Louisville. It's a pretty nice looking city, so it was too bad that it was so soggy. We snapped a few shots of some cool buildings, and checked out a few sights but mostly hid inside a coffee shop and cuaght up on all things electronic - checking email, charging phones an so on. But, we did find out that even the most mundane indoor tasks can be full of exciting discoveries. Hence....
....Adventures at the Grocery Store!
America is known for for its wide variety of culinary delights which are unique from state to state to create a tapestry of delectable delights from coast to coast. I thought it would be a good idea to occasionally document some of the interesting food and drink we come across. Unfortunately, the downtown Louisville food mart didn't exactly top the gourmet list, but it did show us a few items we have never come across in Montreal.
So, maybe this wasn't the best place to kick off the Culinary Trail....but we are heading deeper into the South and are pretty excited for the BBQ joints and Cajun places we're sure to encounter soon.
