After a wonderfully long flight, I've arrived safely in Beijing! What an amazing city...ancient Chinese architecture of royal families intermingled with the most modern skyscrapers...welcome to China. Such a history here through the hundreds of years of dynasties, and such a future as China positions itself in our globalized society and economy. So much to learn...so much to see...but right now I'll relax with my first evening tea!

We are all doing great here. Geoffrey had a great birthday dinner at Plato's last night and Nana got him the "Uncharted" video game he wanted. Javy has a new girlfriend named Francis who he met at Plato's. They hugged and kissed when she left. (Preview of things to come!!)
