OMG!!! It is STILL raining - just this constant, steady downpour. It's 12 noon and we are sitting in Raj's, not in our usual spot upstairs at the back, but on the street.
It's not busy as such but there's a steady procession of people and cows and very few motorcycles or cars. The plastic ponchos and other rain gear that us ferengi's wear are very amusing. Do they have to be such bright colours? Really, it looks like there are giant condoms walking down the street. Sometimes in pairs.

Brenden has just noticed Matt and Jess walk into Sweet Memories, the cafe opposite us. They're the couple we met in Koto. Gonna go over and see them. Forgot to say that yesterday my horse was a 9 year old grey called - wait for it - Raju! Brenden's was a very young 3 year old bay - own will intact - who led B a merry dance. Bad decision on my part wearing cheesecloth....I thought men were commenting on my horse when I passed and heard - mmm very nice - until I looked down and realised that my pink top was - well, completely see-through with the rain! How embarassing....didn't take alot of pics unfortunately 'cos it rained all day. Bums are sore.

We bought a big rainbow umbrella today; it broke as I was putting it up and one of the spokes poked through the fabric. The woman at the shop wouldn't let me return it or even swap it for another one - it still works ok though. I went looking for some bags to take home as gifts for my womenfolk and lucked out when I went into a shop I'd walked past a few times and met Tara, who started the Chetana Women's Skill Development Project with 4 women and has now trained 22 women to be able to support themselves.  www.weavingforlife.org
