Today we hiked the famous Skyline trail, near Cheticamp on the Cabot trail. The views were amazing, especially since it was actually clear (no mist!). We didn't see any whales, but we came across a moose having Sunday brunch. He didn't seem to mind having his picture taken.
After our hike, we headed to North Sydney to catch the overnight ferry to Port aux Basques, NFLD. We had a bit of time to kill before the ferry, so we stopped at the Govenor's Pub which had great drinks (and cheap!). The ferry ride was fine, although we were too cheap to get a room. We slept in the ever so comfortable seats, along with an extreme snorer and a dude who sounded like he was on his death bed. Fingers crossed we don't catch whatever he had.
