On the way he was a nervous wreck, we have had very little in way of communication from the restorer and Will has been getting increasingly cranky and frustrated because he wanted photo's and info and was getting minimal to nothing...........we had no idea what stereo and trim the car had.
When Peter picked us up from the train station in a SM, Will was pretty stoked already and when he finally saw his SM the smile didn't leave his face and still hasn't 12 hours later.
We hadn't had any brekkie because we got lost in Sydney's rail network so we were starving by the time we got to the 'Gong, I had to take the opportunity to stuff a sandwich in my mouth in a servo!!!!! Very uncivillised but I was starving.
The car was perfect and after a few hours of car talk and learning what lever was what and practicing the gear box, we were on our own.
It was pouring with rain the whole way down the coast so we couldn't see alot but when the sky lifted it was beautiful coastline or rolling farmland just about all the way.
Can't wait for tomorrow, hopefully the rain clears and we can get a early start on the road to home and get to RHCL before it closes to get some cheese for family Easter/Christmas.
