apparently the key things that make a great blog are 1) being in the moment, - keeping it real , 2) be entertaining - just the right amount of detail to keep it interesting without boring and finally 3) liberal use of puns. Well I can't promise 1 and 2 being met - in fact we're already 3 days in without a blog entry and I made up the third point..but hey who doesn't love a pun?

So thanks to Fee, we were dropped off at Wellington airport and enjoyed a for the most part uneventful flight to Auckland, then on to Santiago and finally after a small delay we arrived at Buenos Aires, according to the local clock just 8 hours after leaving Welly. However both the international date line along with my body clock (thanks in no part to my customary lack of sleep on any of the flights) meant the actual journey time was a hell of a lot longer. Still we got here in one piece with our lugguage intact, luggage incidently that I'd bought off trademe the day before. After a clandestine meeting in the Island Bay New World car park I'm now the proud owner of a Kathmandu Deluxe with excitingly a NZ Flag stiched on the front, should assist in any Falklands / Malvinas arguments when in Argentina!! It seems he was quite sad to hand over his backpack which worringly he'd nicknamed the mighty steed, according to my dictionary, steed means horse - particularly a high-spirited one, so god only knows what I'm in for!!
