Where I stayed
Our time in Singapore was a bit short, maybe a little too short. Singapore is an amazing emerging country along the lines of Hong Kong with tall high rise banks and an unbelievable transport infrastructure . The newly developed areas are an example of how a new city can emerge. The wealth in this country is evident not only with the expensive price tag on everything but by the architecture, the cleanliness and impressive development plans. Our highlights included the impressive Clarke Quay, great shopping and restaurnats and the famous raffles hotel where jenny had the mother of all carrot cakes. Singapore is HOOTTTT and very humid ,along the lines of bangkok . We could of stayed a few more days in Singapore although prices came as a bit of a shock compared to the ridiculously cheap Thailand and Vietnam, so just as well it was a short visit, luckily subway was our saviour! The hostel we stayed in was great and we were enjoying the country, however it was time to move on and more importantly we had a date with Wangers in sydney.......To be continued!!!!!!!!
