On the last stretch now from Melbourne back up to Sydney to return the van and catch our flight our of here. We chose to take the coastal route back to Sydney and not bother visiting Canberra. I know it's the Captial and we really should visit, but as you can tell, we are both feeling like once you've seen one city you've seen them all.
We came across the pretty town of Lakes Entrance on our journeys, which was right on 90 mile beach. Miles and miles of fantastic sandy beach and lovely water. Although I suspect we are probabably not seeing it at it's vey best due to the weather.
We also stopped at a place called Cape Conran which was a rugged and wild bit of the coast that was pretty unpopulated but spectacular scenery.
