The last evening we were in Wanaka the boys hired a car and we went to go and see the sunset by the lake.  It was really cool views and it was fun being in a car rather than a bus! That night we went to a karaoki night and I ended up singing with James (I was very drunk and it was not good!), and of all the songs to pick we picked Bardie Girl.  Probably the most humiliating 4 minutes of my life and hearing myself through a speaker does not make my voice sound any better! On the way out of Wanaka we went to puzzle world which was really weird! And not the best place to be with a hangover! All of the floors are tilted and you look like you are always leaning backwards! There was also a room where on one side you are a giant and the other side u are tiny! really funny place!

After Wanaka we went to Queenstown.  QT is a really pretty place, with a lake and mountains but it really is just like Magaluf! Every night there is a new theme, we have had UV night, ladies night, sex night....!  Apart from going out I went on a gondela to the top of one of the mountains and the views were fantastic.  Also went to the Botanic gardens where we played on the swings and underwater world where you can just see everything below the surface of the lake.  Lots of eels and fish!

We got on the bus to Dun Eden which is the student town of NZ, and we walked up the steepest road in the world.  After Dun Eden we jumped in a car with the boys and did the rest of the south island without the bus (the bus is sooo slow!).  We went to a place called nugget bay which was on top of a cliff.  We saw seals but the weather turned really nasty and we got drowned with hail!  We also went to a waterfall on the way to Invercargil which was huge, but was a very muddy road to get there. We were going to spend the night at Cario bay but there was nothing there, just 5 buildings and no bar in sight so we headed straight to Invercargill.

We spent two days in Invercargil.  We went to Bluff which is the most southern point of NZ.  There we went on a very long and steep walk to stand on some more cliffs! It was very windy and nearly got blown away.  We also went to the museum in Invercargill which was rubbish and then found another park to play in! We also went to a beach where you can drive right up to the sea.

After Invercargill we went to Te Anau.  In teh way there we stopped at a gem stone beach which didnt quite live up to its name! just lots of stones and it smelt really horrible! I found some stones that could be gem stones, but more than likely I will just come home with a bag full of pebbles!  We also went to a lake which is meant to be very spiritual! It was very pretty but really cold!

Yesterday we went Milford Sound which was stunning! It is just such a pretty place, lots of snowy mountains, trees and really still lakes.  We spent some time walking around there and then we went to a mirror lake, but it was too windy to really mirror the scenery.  It was a really long drive but well worth it!

We are back in Queenstown now and will be getting back on the bus on Tuesday!
