We arrived in Sydney at around 11pm on Tuesday and got a train to our hostel (the tubes are double deckeres which I have never seen before!).
The hostel is ok, we are in a room of 6, but when we arrived everyone was asleep!

On our first day in Sydney we went to see the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour bridge which was really cool to see! Its strange to see it in real life after seeing so many pictures! We then walked to Darling Harbour, got lost for 2 hours and then got a boat there instead! We had a wander around Darling Harbour, China town and Paddy's market before going back to the hostel.  Sydney is one of my favourite cities! Apart from the weather! We come half way around the world for it to be cold!!!!! Also am missing my hair straightners very much!

On our second day we went on a tour of the Blue Mountains.  We stopped off at the Olymic Stadium and went searching for kangeroo's, but with no luck.  When we got to the Blue Mountains we did a hours walk and saw all of the views.  It is absolutely stunning (none of the pictures do it justice!) and it was just so much more blue than I thought it would be! On the walk we we saw waterfalls and our guide told us loads of stories about the area which was interesting. The walk was really steep and I am surprised I didn't break my ankle! We also went on a train back up the mountain which is the world's steepest railway! On the way back we stopped off for a boomerang lesson! I was rubbish, but Emma was pretty good at it!

Yesterday we headed to Bondi Beach (and got lost on the way again!).  The beach was really cool and I would have like to have surf lessons apart from the water was so cold! We did a costal walk to Coogee bay, which we were told took one hour, but ended up being 3!! And we didnt get lost that time! On the way we saw loads of dolphins in the sea.  There must have been arpund 20 of them.  It was so amazing to see, they were jumping all over the place! In the evening we met up with the girls from our room and went for a few drinks and then onto a club.

After getting lost today, we went to the harbour bridge to do the bridge climb over the top of the bridge! It was terrifying! I was so scared! They dress you up in this all in one suit (very nice) then hook to to a wire that runs along the side of the bridge incase you fall off (which was a very real possibility!). The first bit was the worse when you were walking under the construction of the bridge and I was really worried, but I was very brave and made it all the way over and back!  We had to climb up really steep ladders (Dad, you would be impressed with how well I went up and down the ladders! only tripped once!).  Once you were on the top of the bridge it was fine and the views were amazing, although unfortunately you can't take your camera's.  It was the most fantastic view, you could see all the way to the Blue Mountains.  After the bridge climb, we got on the Manley ferry to say we saw the beach and had some dinner there.

I am thinking of emigrating to Sydney!
