Today we left our beautiful hotel to travel back to Delhi to catch an 8pm flight. Before we sent to Delhi, we stopped at a walled city/fort named Fatehpur Sikri which was built by the Mogals also. It took about 1 hour to reach the fort and along he way we saw people pilgrimage for a Hindu Festival next week. We were told that they can walk up to 200 Km's to get to the temple. Now that is some dedication. Along the side of the road you see people resting, drinking water and playing music. There are always people walking on the streets with cattle and dogs so travel is slow.

We arrived at the fort and took a taxi into it (auto's were not allowed). As with the other forts, it was very magnificent and had space for 5000 concubines as well as entertainment for the emperor by playing Parcheesi using concubines rather than stones. "It is good to be the king"!!!.

After spending a little over and hour at the fort, we left to go back to Delhi to catch our flight. We took a short cut thru a small country town that was interesting to say the least. I must be getting used to the organized chaos while driving because I took a little nap in car.

We arrived in Delhi early which was amazing because the traffic was bad in the city. We were able to get an earlier flight to Bangalore which was good since we did not want to get to Bangalore around 10:45pm.

Overall it was a great trip and the Taj Mahal was wonderful. The weekend was very tiring but fun.
