Pisac, Peru

We arrived in
Cusco, Peru on the 18th of July. We spent the first few days visiting the amazing sights throughout the city as well as visiting many of the Inca ruins around Cusco. Are time in Cusco was somewhat side-swiped after we decided to invest in a 1/2 kilo of olives. We both suffered from the wrath of extreme food poisoning and were pretty much bed ridden for 3 days. Thankfully before we left the states we picked up prescriptions for antibiotics. The medicine seemed to do the trick. Yesterday we boarded a bus and headed for the town of
Pisac, Peru. We spent the day, as usual, walking around town and visiting with the locals. Today we hiked out of the city and over a mountain pass to see the Pisaq ruins. Tomorrow we are heading further into the Sacred Valley. We will also be visiting the ever popular
Machu Picchu for our first anniversary.
