So, with Sarah well on her way back to blighty i continued my journey alone to Saigon. I endured a 10 hour bus journey, which apart from drinking with some locals en-route (always seems to happen to me) was uneventful.

I arrived in Saigon in darkness, selected a cheap comfortable room, and decided to have a quiet 1st night at a quiet bar watching a game of footie. I only really had one full day in Saigon and really wanted to make the most of it.

Awakening the next morn, i challenged myself to see the main tourist attractions by foot. It was an interesting day, and i took in the sights of the war museum, Notre Damn Cathedral to name a few. Saigon was, in my opinion, a nicer place than Hanoi... the locals seemed friendlier and the place generally more user friendly.

I did bump into a few mates whilst here, namely an Irish lad named Chris and a brazilian namned Ciao. I met them both in Vang Vieng and Chris is a scaramanger! Ciao is a mad Brazilian bloke who completely oozes confidence. Watching him with women was a work of art. So, having bumped into Chris early on on my second night there, we headed to a few bars and commenced drinking and later on crossed paths with Ciao in a club - names of bars elude me. Anyway, a good night ensued seeing me hit the hay by 3. I left the following day at midday and flew into, and i hate to say it, Bangkok! AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
