We arrived in Chicago just after the White Sox won the World Series. Now Jeff was born into a Cubs family so this win was of no interest, but Chicago did express some pride none the less. The pride extended to placing a White Sox ball cap on the Picasso Lion in Daley Center Plaza. We are not sure, but we think Picasso would have been more of a Cubs fan, so we think he'd be offended by this addition to his sculpture. Picasso was very particular, so we doubt the historical feat of a World Series win by Chicago would have been enough, but we could be in error.

Jeff did get bullish on Chicago insisting on riding the bronze bull across from Millennium Park! Actually, Jeff was displaying his enthusiasm for tonight's dinner at Charlie Trotter's. Marie and Jeff did secure last minute reservations at the famed Charlie Trotter's, which lived up to expectations and included some rather unusual wines and wine pairings. The highlight of the evening was a guided tour of the kitchen given by Charlie's very gracious Mother.
