We took a brief walk across the MIT campus, just so Jeff could say "I've been to MIT."
After MIT we headed east to Cape Cod. Now half way between Boston and Cape Cod is a rock, a significant rock, but a rock none the less.
We stopped at Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts. Not much of a rock if you ask me. It looks like any old glacial erratic you can find in the north-eastern US. I know the Mayflower was small, but even considering that, I doubt John Smith would have even noticed this rock when he got off the boat.
We drove all the way out to the end of the Cape and did spend some time on the very windy and rather chilly beaches.
Hotel: Nothing to write about.
Dinner: We eat at a rather divey seafood place--it was the only place around. Marie had a very good Lobster, by the way.
