Where I stayed
Badlands Cedar Pass Lodge
After spending the morning at Mount Rushmore we stopped for the obligatory "free" glass of ice water at Wall Drug before spending the night at the Badlands Cedar Pass Lodge.
The Badlands greeted us with spectacular thunder clouds. Nature's free light show.
We were both up early to see some sites before sitting down to an amazing breakfast of, eggs rancheros on an Indian Taco-at type of fried dough that is prefect way to start a long day.
In spite of such a wonderful beginning the day ending in arm pit of America-Albert Lee Minnesota. This place was so bad that Jeff had to go a grocery store and get free samples of coffee, since we could not find a coffee shop. Jeff wisely chose not to sample the "box" mash potatoes on offer.
