As the majority of you know we are now back home in Chorley, Lancashire.

After leaving Dubai we went to visit Jeff's family in Holland. We where greeted at the airport by John,Hennie,Wendy and Mike ( Jeffs Dad,Mum,Sister and Brother) it was so nice and a prefect welcome home. We spent the next few days enjoying the gorgeous weather it was very warm the sun was shining and most importantly in the Winkelman house the beer was cold and flowing! Happy days :)

On Saturday 3rd July we celebrated our engagement by having a party organised by the family. It was a great way to meet some of the family and friends i hadn't met already and for everybody to get together and have a good time. It was a fantastic evening which ended at 3am Sunday morning. A few hours later we was woken up by Andries and the Vuvuzela i think he thought he was in South Africa :)

We had the great pleasure of watching Holland v Uruguay in the semi final and we had the perfect place to watch it. De Brouwmeester - Henk and Grace (very good family friends) pub, the atmosphere was fantastic and the drinks didn't stop all night thanks to Henk :) Anybody who goes to this part of Holland has to visit De Brouwmeester in Koekange it is a beautiful little village pub with 5 star service.

We stayed in Holland for a few more days and then headed back to the UK. After a 3am start we arrived back in Manchester at 12pm, such a short distance but a nightmare journey. First we flew to Gatwick then we was delayed for 1.5 hours before we finally boarded our flight to Manchester.

Since we have been back in the UK we have spent time with my family and friends and adjusting back to reality. We have an exciting new start ahead of us a new life and we cant wait to start it properly. We will keep you all posted on where we finally settle!

We would both defiantly recommend traveling to anyone. We have had some fantastic experiences that will stay with us forever. It has made our relationship stronger than ever and made us both ready for a new life.

Everyone we have seen on our return has asked what was the best part of the trip and my answer is the whole of it, to be free and not to have to think about anyone else other than ourselves.

Thank you so much for following our adventure we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did :)

Love Lynds and Jeff x

We returned yesterday from our holiday so we did not yet read this final of your journey. As we told you already, we enjoyed reading it.
We wish you all the luck with finding a new 'home''. Keep us posted.
