Hi all,

After our cultural trip we decided to do something different the next day...Kerry and Corinne wanted to go to a ladyboys bar and invited us to go with them.

The next day we got up and chilled out at the pool and after 2 hours we thought we had a little sleep...3 hours later we woke up (oops) and went to the beach to get some lunch/dinner, we sat down at a restaurant and order something to drink and some food....asking for the bill we were presented with a bill of 154625RPH which is in pounds = 11.55 ... nice deal but I thought still expensive :-)

We headed back to the apartment and changed before meeting up with Kerry and Corinne at the Haven (hotel were they stayed) ... we got on the buggy that brought us to the main street and met up with them.

Our journey exploring the Bali nightlife started from this point, as we were catching up we had done nothing more than they did that day...pool, eat and sleep...5 minutes later it started raining again (it must have something to do with us meeting up ;-) ) ... the tour-guide told us that is was 40 meters walking into the street...turned out to be more likely 400 meters, but we arrived at a bar which was almost empty and were lured in by a free drink :-) ... we were enjoying our beers and 10 minutes later the show started...OMG...this is funny and I think nobody knew were to look when the first ladyboy came on stage :-)

We were laughing and astonished...and were speculating about some things...we had another beer and when the second ladyboy LADlita came on stage the first one named aMANda came and sat with us...HAHAHA...she told us a lot and we asked every question which came up in our minds :-) ... we left this bar and went onto the next one...

The second bar had a great show...all the ladyboys were dressed up as you can see on the pictures and we had a free drink again :-) .... Lynds and Corinne went to the toilet and Kerry and me sat at a table...a ladyboy came up and here is were it begun...I felt like a target for them :-( all the ladyboys where attracted to Jeff, one licking his/hers lips at him, it was sooo funny and then one of them kissed him on the cheek :) all of us could not stop laughing ...

The third bar, had male and female models so we thought why not.... the bar was full of men and us 3 girls where the only females. We soon discovered it was a gay bar and at this point Jeff started to panick. Us girls had a good laugh at the male models while Jeff got pounced on by a ladyboy, he/she would not leave him alone and was touching him everywhere and i mean everywhere his face was such a picture! We left shortly after.

The 4th bar was a normal bar and we sat and laughed about what had just happened, me and Corrine saw a drum set and decided to get on stage and have ago. At this point we all had way to much to drink. We went to the last bar of the evening and a traditional Bali cocktail.

It was now 2am and we went back to the hotel to order room service, 2 big burgers!!! yum yum

The next day we both woke up with a hangover and as it was to late for breakfast we sat at the pool and felt ill....after a while Kerry and Corinne showed up and Lynds had a talk with them and reviewed last night. We decided to go for dinner that night and they left us alone to recover from the drinking of last night...After a while I felt a little bit hungry and decided to get some food...at the back of our complex there are some little shops were the locals have their lunches..as the girl could not speak English I chose what looked best...my lunch cost me a staggering 0.66 ...this is what I was looking for, cheap food. Back in our apartment I started eating the cat/dog and rat meat, but it was really good and 10 minutes later I was back at the shop to buy some more :-) .... at 6pm we met up with Kerry and Corinne for dinner and walked to the beach were the are loads of restaurants for tourist.

Italian was on the menu tonight and we sat down to see the sunset and enjoy a nice evening with our 2 good friends we met.

Yesterday did not much went out for lunch and booked the rest of our trip.

The weather is still sunny and 30 degrees and very very humid.

Bye for now Jeff and Lynds
