Today we thought we do something different and learn something more about Australia by visiting the national museum of Australia...

After waking up we had some breakfast or better saying lunch (11:55) ... luckily everything is really close in Sydney and after a walk through Hyde park we arrived at the museum. Lynds paid again attention and found a 15% discount voucher the day before in the hotel brochure.

We received a map of the museum and headed to the 2nd floor to start the tour...the first things we saw were stuffed birds and hairy spiders(=really creepy) after these we headed to the dinosaur room and saw some awesome skeletons and reconstruction of some dinosaurs

Leaving the dinosaurs behind we entered the room were the extinct animals were and the endangered species...this was nice but as everywhere in the world they want YOU to start changing the world. Quickly leaving this room the crocodiles appeared again and as we know everything about crocs, or at least a lot of them already, we headed to the next room were we could explore animals ourselves as if we were explorers.

Entering the last room we saw a lot of aboriginal sounds nice but we have seen it all before on our travels...

Then we walked through Sydney visiting Darling Harbor were we saw Marine boats, a submarine and a replica of the HMB Endeavor of the famous captain Thomas Cook...

After this we decided to go to the Hotel-gym to get even more exercise :-)

Friday is our last day in Sydney before we fly to our next destination ............ and we can't wait and it is up to you guys to guess were we are going ;-)

Bye Lynds and Jeff
