On our last day in Scottsville/Caledonia the basement was decorated for our going away reception. The theme was retirement, with streamers, colorful centerpieces, a retirement badge for Jeff, colorful necklace for Kathie and a bunch of retirement balloons. When we got ready to go Adrien took those balloons out to the RV for us so that we could take them on our trip. We kept the balloons on the motorhome through our travels down south and on to Ocala. As we got ready to leave for parts further south this morning Jeff decided we should give the balloons a ceremonial sending off. So we took them outside and set them free. We think it symbolizes our retirement journey which will take us to who knows where? So just like those balloons which were set free and then rose higher and higher as they disappered from sight, we too are seting off again, not knowing where we'll end up but ready to rise and keep on flying!
